Weekly Spanish Masses

From July to October, we warmly invite you to join us for weekly Spanish Masses every Saturday at 8 pm. These special celebrations, previously focused on migrant communities, are now open to all members of our Hispanic community who wish to grow in faith and fellowship.

For the months of November through June, we also offer a Monthly Spanish Mass on the 2nd Sunday at 1:30 pm. This additional service provides a dedicated time for reflection and spiritual nourishment throughout the year.

We are truly blessed to have missionary priests from Africa serving in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, supporting the vibrant communities of St. Joseph (Wright Township), St. Bartholomew (Newaygo), and Holy Family (Sparta). Their dedication has helped our Hispanic ministry flourish, bringing us closer as a family of faith.

In addition to weekly Mass, the mission priests generously offer:

  • Masses in homes and at farm camps for workers
  • Home blessings to bring peace and faith into your homes
  • Bible studies to deepen your spiritual journey

Cultural Traditions and Celebrations

Our vibrant ministry also embraces many cherished cultural traditions and celebrations that enrich our spiritual lives. Each November, we honor All Souls with a beautifully arranged altar displaying photos of our loved ones. During the winter months, join us for our festive tamale sale, and experience the warmth of Los Posadas in December. In the summer, we embark on a memorable trip to Chicago to visit the shrine of St. Jude, and we proudly celebrate Quinceañeras as an important rite of passage in our community.

We are grateful for their service and excited to continue growing together in faith, community, and love. Come join us—everyone is welcome!
